Montana Summer Truths: Freedom, Fireworks, and Forgetting What Day It Is Every Montana summer has a rhythm.
By the last week of June, the coolers start coming out, lawn chairs reappear from storage, and someone is making a grocery list that includes enough food to feed a small army.
The plan is simple:
Relax.
Enjoy the sunshine.
Spend time with family and friends.
Watch the fireworks.
But somewhere between buying hamburgers and hotdogs, checking the weather forecast, loading the camping gear, and deciding where to watch the fireworks, someone always asks:
"Wait... what day is the 4th this year?"
Montana Summer Truth:
We spend all week preparing for the holiday and then lose track of what day it actually is.
Maybe that's part of what makes summer in Montana so special.
The days are longer.
The sunsets are better.
The BBQ tastes better.
And the memories seem to last longer too.
Whether you're spending the holiday at the lake, around a campfire, at a parade, or watching fireworks under the big Montana sky, we hope your celebration is filled with family, friends, and great memories.
Happy Independence Day and Happy Montana Summer!
